Guru Nanak Dev
Ji. Founder of the Sikh faith. This portrait was commissioned by
Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji and is believed to be a true likeness of Guru
Ji. There is a steely determination in this portrait which is lacking
in many other pictures, where Guru Ji is normally depicted as solemn
and frail. Remember, Guru Ji traveled the length and breadth of India
and went as far as Kuwait and Iran preaching a message of love and tolerance.
