1682 The Sikhs repulsed Bhim Chand ‘s attack at Makhowal.
   
1685 Founder Paunta sahib
   
1686 Reconclied Medni Parkash od Sumar adn Fateh Chand of Garhwal in a bid to unite the Hindu rulers.
   
1688 Constructed the forts of Anandgarh, Keshgarh, Lohgarh and Fatehgarh in order to the give the area inherent depth and all round defence potential.
   
1690 Guru Ji led from the front in the battle of Nadaun.
 

1694

Repulsed Khanzada’s attack on Anandpur sahib in November and December.

Hassaini jang, results in the Moghal commanders complete defeat.

   
1696

Mauzzams campaigns against the Hill Chiefs.

   
1699

Instituted the Khalsa (A pure hearted life long soldier)

   
1700

Slirmishes of the Khalsa army with Bhim Chands regulars in September and the siege of Anandupr Sahib by Bhim Chand and his allies.

   
1701 Evacuation and withdrawal from Anandpur defences.
   
1702 Guru Ji led his army against the allied Hill and Mughal troops at Nirmoh. Followed up by the battle of Basoli with Bhim chand. Reoccupation of the fortress of Kalmot by June and Anandpur sahib by August.
   
1704 Improved the fortification and defences of Anandpur Sahib and and training standards of the troops.
   
1705 Enemy succeeded in a great siege of Anandpur with another withdrawal in December and consequently the battle of Sarsa followed by the battle at Chamkaur Sahib in which S.Ajit singh Ji and S.Jujhar Singh Ji gave a hair raising heroic and valorous account of themselves before laying down their lives in the battle field. Cruel execution of younger Sahibzaday Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh Ji at Sirhand and the death of their grand-mother Mata Gujri Ji, December 22 nd 1705.
   
1706 Reached Sabo Ki Talwandi (Damdama Sahib) in November. This period marked significantly hectic recruitment and training. Left Damdama Sahib to meet with Aurangzeb in the Deccan.
 

1707

Death of Aurangzeb , met Bahadur Shah, the Mughal successor to the throne at Agra in July.

   
1708 At Nander in September met Madho Das and initiated him into the Khalsa panth as Bandha singh Bahadhur and made him the commander in chief of the Khalsa army. Ascended to heaven
