Baba Buddha Ji and a number of devotees paying homage to Guru Hargobind sahib Ji from the foot hills of Fort Gowalior.

Chandu cunningly instigated the Emperor against Guru Ji and got Guru Sahib imprisoned in a Fort high in the hills of Gowalior. Sikh devotees yearning to see their master would gather around the foot hills of the fort in large numbers and bow in respect. After a long while the Emperor realizing the mischief played by Chandu decided to release Guru Ji. Guru Sahib refused to leave the fort unless all the other Rajput rajas and princes were also release. The Emperor agreed that all who could hold on to the Gurus cloak would go free. Guru Ji hastily got a cloak made with 52 tassels. Thus, all 52 rajas and princes imprisoned in the fort went free.
