Born on July 7th 1656 Guru Harkrishan Ji was the younger son of Guru Har Rai Ji. He was only 5 years and 8 months old when the divine light of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was enshrined in his heart and he was installed as the eighth Guru. Even at an early age Guru Ji gave spiritual instruction to his Sikhs. To propagate the faith he sent preachers in every direction and Sikhs came from all over the regions to pay homage.
