Young Arjun Dev Ji climbs the Guru's bed while Bibi Bhani ji serves food.

One day while Guru Amar Das ji was taking his meal his grandson Arjun Dev Ji crawled into the room and started to clamber up and tried to put his hand on the plate. Bibi Bhani Ji took the child away but repeatedly he would come back. Guru Amar Das Ji patted his back and said "Why so impatient ? one day you too shall eat from this plate." The Sikhs and Bibi Bhani Ji who heard this understood that Guru Ji by his words had foretold Arjun Dev ji's succession to the throne of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
