Sikhism is NOT part of or influenced by any other faith(s). The path of Sikhism was revealed to the first Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji by God.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji said “There is no Hindu, there is no Muslim.” - In the eyes of God all are the same.

The only authority Sikhs bow to is Guru Granth Sahib.

Sikhs have the utmost respect for other religions.

Sikhs do not believe in fasting,

Sikhs do not believe in circumcisions.

Sikhs do not believe in ritual killing of animals.

They do not believe in pilgrimages or facing in any direction when praying.

Although Sikhs respect great deities like Brahama, Shivji and Vishnu there belief in the One almighty God is unshakable.

Sikhs do not believe in the tilak and jineu, marks of the Hindu

Sikhs do not believe in high caste or low, all are one in the eyes of the Lord.
